The Club has four pen sizes available for purchase. They are 10, 12, 14 and 17 meters. We also have a limited number of 'plus size' berths available for boats larger than 17 meters.

 Q. How will my boat be measured to determine the pen size that I will need?

To avoid any protrusions over the walkways, or into the fairway, your boat will be measured by its exact physical length, including all protrusions as shown.

Q. Will there be pens available in the new Marina for Motor Boats?

Yes, the club has space in the new Marina for Motor Boats.

Q. Is the Club only offering 20-year leases?
Yes, at this stage we are only offering 20-year leases but we would be happy to take an EOI from any interested party for a short-term lease should we be able to provide them at a later date.

Q. What is the expected timeframe for the new Marina?
The Club is anticipating commencing the construction of the new Marina later in 2016. Watch this space for more information.

Q. After my lease term is completed, will I have the first right to continue to lease my pen?
Yes, subject to the General Committee at the time.

Q. What will the start date be for my lease?
The start date will be the date that your pen is certified for use by the contractor and project manager, i.e. when the new Marina is finished.

Q. What are the re-selling options for members who purchase a Long-term lease?
Members will be able to re-sell their long-term lease pens at market value*, with 5 per cent of the selling price retained by the Club. In this circumstance, the Club will also have the first right of refusal to buy the pen.

Should a member wish to sell both their boat and their pen as a package, the Club will not have the first right of refusal.

*The market value will be determined by the market price at the time for pens of a similar size and quality within Port Phillip.

Q. Is there an investment opportunity to purchase one (or more) Long-term Lease pens and then sub-lease a pen to a third party?
Yes, the Club will be happy to discuss this situation with any member.

Q. Where can I sign up?

You can complete an Expression of Interest form at any time and we will be in contact with you once you have submitted this form
