The Tall Ships Are Coming
The fleet is on its way, lead by the magnificent Stad Amsterdam arriving at 1100 Hrs on the 23 Feb. Meet the ship at Falkner Beacon and escort her in, all invited.
There will be a carvery dinner at the club on Thursday 25 February $30.00 per plate includes desert and coffee. Its anticipated that Sarah Darwin, Great Grand Daughter of Sir Charles Darwin along with the supervising Scientist will be in attendance and will hopefully give us a overview of the Stad Amsterdam and the Beagle Project which why the ship is coming here.
